Interior Specialties receives Eagle Award for work on PGA TOUR Global Headquarters

Leading specialty subcontractor Interior Specialties has always strived for excellence. Once again, the company has been recognized by the Central Florida Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors for its exceptional work in the industry.

This is the 12th time the company been honored with an Eagle Award, which is given by the Central Florida Chapter of ABC for Excellence in Construction. Interior Specialties was honored for its work on the PGA TOUR Global Headquarters.

“We’re very proud to be honored with this prestigious award from a top trade organization,” President Bob Robinson said. “We deliver this level of excellence on every project we do. It is a privilege to have worked on a project of this caliber and to be called out among a strong group of peers in our industry.”

This project established the new headquarters of the PGA TOUR. The new facility boasts 187,000 square feet and brings together the PGA TOUR’s Ponte Vedra-based employees, who were previously working from 17 separate facilities. The space is striking, featuring an open design and plenty of natural light, as well as great amenities.

Interior Specialties worked with Clark Construction Group and handled the installation of motorized shades and manual shades, bathroom accessories and fire protection elements.

The company drew on its deep knowledge of Division 10 and Division 12 subcontracting, plus more than 30 years of experience, to lighten the load for Clark and achieve this level of excellence.

In addition to its history with the Eagle Award, Interior Specialties has been ranked on Orlando Business Journal’s list of largest specialty contractors for six years in a row and has been named one of OBJ’s fastest growing companies. Interior Specialties is also a previous winner of the Associated Builders and Contractors Subcontractor Award of Excellence.
